Circle’s Circus: A Pi Day Celebration March 11-14, 2008 3 hours Gr. 4-8
Take your place in our three ring circus and learn about the history of pi; make your mind go in circles as you complete our a-mazing pi day activities. Our first floor becomes a circular learning center for teams to complete pi day challenges. KY Core content: Math : M-1.1.2, 1.3.1, 2.2.5, 2.3.1; practical living: M-4.3.2, 4.4.2, 4.4.3.
STARLAB Training
Credit: 2 hours
Saturday, October 20, 2007 9:30 -11:30 Cost: $25
Learn the mechanics of teaching STARLAB, the portable planetarium and leave with
information, samples and literature to integrate astronomy and the stars into classroom
presentations. Participants are certified to rent STARLAB for use in school districts or
